Getting Ready for Baby #2!

First, a photo of Daddy and Catherine ...

after Daddy finished the St Patty's Day Dash in Seattle. Catherine got a green necklace afterwards which she loved. It was Ryan's first race since getting back into running and we're so proud of him! (Catherine's shirt says Daddy's pot of gold!)
I have to write things down while I remember them (and have a moment to myself!)...

Catherine seems more and more excited about having a baby sister. Here are my clues:

• talks about baby Claire when I am not around- to Nana in particular
  
• when she sees my bare tummy, she smiles and says "hi baby Claire" or "baby Claire is in mommy's tummy", etc


• when she finds a baby toy put away in a drawer, she says she will give it to the baby and play with her and share with her (mind you, she isn't a big fan of sharing with anyone lately- she's 2!)


• shows me with her baby dolls how she will hold the baby, rock her and play a song for her


• hugs and kisses my tummy
  

Now let's just hope that when baby is actually here in about 3 1/2 months that she still loves the idea of having a baby sister! For now, I am spending lots of time cuddling with her and making a list of things that her and Daddy can do together when he's home in early July while I recuperate from surgery.
