We had a blast at Great Wolf Lodge for 2 nights. Catherine loved the variety of playing in the water, the magic wand game throughout the lodge, the arcade (she ran in and found an ice cream truck and didn't even need it to run on tokens, she was happy just to sit there and drive it forever!), the story time and her own bed in our room. We actually think one thing she liked best was running everywhere, especially through the wide, long hallways. Luckily, Ryan kept up with her while I slowly crept behind. Boy, a vacation with a toddler really wears you out when you are pregnant!! Thank you for all the recommendations, we are so glad we went and can't wait to go back when 1) she is older so she is a little less fearful and more daring in the water 2) when I am not pregnant and have more energy to do more water slides! Catherine was pretty funny, she LOVED watching Ryan come down the slides and then would say "I can do it" but of course those were the slides that she couldn't go on because of her height. The slides she could on we had to force her down just to get a little practice, because she had no interest on her own! She loved watching other kids and especially the babies play in the water and the big bucket of water dump from the top of the lodge.
