Big sister first...she continues to do well adjusting to having a little sister around. If she wakes up from nap or in the morning she asks where the baby is, loves to hold her and touch her, is becoming more helpful throwing diapers away for me, singing to her when she cries, etc. Catherine also is really loving any time just her and I have together- last night she said "I like special mommy time" when I was putting her to bed. So housework may not always get done when I'd like it to, because when Claire goes down if catherine is awake we try to play together (usually her doing my hair or a tea party!)
Catherine also had her first night away from home...spent the night at Nana's house about a week ago, they both loved it and it went really well so we will probably do it once a month so mom and dad can have some quiet time together with just 1 kiddo and Catherine can have something to look forward to. She loves going to Nana's house! We love Nana too...she's helping out a great deal and even bringing us home cooked meals (which is a real treat because she doesn't do a lot of cooking for just 1).
Now on to Claire...has her 1 month dr appt this Friday! Wow, a month has gone by already- really?! I'll give more of an update after her dr appt, but she is doing well...started going 4 hours between her last daytime feeding & first nighttime one, so that is nice! She definitely knows her days and nights, thank goodness! She loves to sleep in her car seat and stroller, so far where she has her best, longest naps. We've also got a few smiles out of her during her awake time=)
