We've been keeping busy that's for sure.... Catherine really enjoyed watching the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade and loved dancing along with the Broadway acts! It was a hoot to watch. We actually got a family photo of all of us smiling on Thanksgiving too. Claire just turned 5 months and we just started the delicious meal of rice cereal. She's been very interested watching us eat for at least a month now so she was ready. I just feel bad she has to eat gross rice cereal! She seems to like it better when I make fun sounds like the spoon is zooming into her mouth. She enjoys sitting up with the help of her friend Boppy and reaching for toys around her and usually reaching far enough that she ends up rolling all over- she is a certified wiggle worm!
Now we are in the midst of getting ready for Christmas. Its very fun to teach Catherine about the holiday and see her play with the nativity set or ask for the "Jesus songs" and be able to tell me that Christmas is about celebrating Jesus' birthday, hug our stuffed Santa and look at Christmas photo cards from years past. She's soaking it all in and asks a lot of questions, such a fun age filled with innocence and pure joy.
